- We are introduced to Brittany Dobler in the pilot episode. She is a nurse at Ocean Park Hospital and started working there six weeks prior to this episode. She is naive but cheerful and ambitious. When Nurse Jackson gets irritated at her for making mistakes in Emma's (a patient) care, we see a different, more sad side to the amiable nurse. She proves to be a good friend and helpful hand towards everyone. At a party she starts scolding teens on the dangers of drinking, and is very alarmed when people think she is a stripper. She moved to Los Angeles with her boyfriend- now ex- boyfriend-. Ben breaks up with her after they made the move to Los Angeles. Brittany also happens to have a mild crush on Dr. McAndrews.
